Go by your dog's weight first, then check the measurements.

How to measure: Neck around the base, where a collar sits. Chest around the widest part, just behind the front legs. Back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Use a soft tape and leave two fingers of room.
Which measurement matters? Chain: neck. Flannel: chest, then back. Bodysuit: chest and back.
